Design
Hzaudio's 15MH is a high-energy two-way loudspeaker designed to meet the demands of premium cinema systems. Its coaxial design minimizes phase shift, featuring a heavy-duty neodymium-iron-boron magnet system with a 75mm large-diaphragm voice coil woofer. The 3-inch large-diaphragm voice coil compression driver is paired with a high-density aluminum alloy constant-directivity horn, cast using a 400-ton high-pressure die-casting machine. This configuration delivers exceptional performance beyond standard cinema requirements, with abundant power reserve and ultra-low harmonic distortion—especially critical third-order distortion. Compared to conventional low-power speakers, the 15MH achieves the same sound pressure with significantly reduced distortion and a more effortless, natural sound signature.
A precisely phase-aligned crossover network enhances acoustic penetration, effectively compensating for high-frequency detail loss caused by acoustically transparent screens. It also delivers unparalleled midrange vocal clarity, a vital quality for high-end cinema speakers.
The constant-directivity design ensures uniform frequency response across the speaker’s radiation pattern, providing consistent sound quality throughout the audience area. There is no single "sweet spot"; every seat enjoys sound of the same standard.
For compact cinema spaces or maximal seating capacity, the 15MH’s slim profile (only 350mm thickness) simplifies installation behind the screen.
